Social Media Networker

As an account manager, your ability to create, develop, lead will be paramount to this role. In addition, an ability to work with autonomously is an important attribute.

WOD is a rapidly growing business with multiple verticals and requires Sales Reps that can think outside the norm to secure business is untapped markets.

We are looking for candidates with media sale experience with a grasp on both digital integration as well as social marketing opportunities.

This role would suit a sales exec that has two years sales experience, is a networker with good commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be expected to constantly maintain market knowledge and stay ahead of emerging trends in social engagement and monitoring, leverage social media best practices and management tools (tracking + social listening) and liaise with product owners and WOD developers to build required social campaigns within each product suite
  • On-going weekly and monthly social media reporting for clients
  • Observing and reporting for potential issues to clients and assisting where necessary
  • Maintain activity reports while maintaining campaign effectiveness
  • Monitoring different platforms, social and web analytics, and other online communication tools
  • Conducting research
  • Working alongside clients and ensuring great client satisfaction
  • Proactively engaging in the latest developments and trends within social media and all its platforms, while sharing insight and knowledge to the rest of the team
  • Continuously networks growing through acquisition of new audience

Key Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in digital & social media working within an agency
  • A solid understanding of the social media space and its continuous to evolve
  • The ability to analyse data and turn it into concise written insights
  • Ability to research, monitor, and analyse data, trends, and emerging social channels
  • A deep understanding of online technologies
  • An accurate eye for detail
  • Great communication and time management skills
  • Be an excellent communicator
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of the sales process
